Return and Refund Policy for Love That Scent

Thank you for your purchase at Love That Scent!

We appreciate your business and want to ensure a positive shopping experience. Due to the nature of fragrance samples, we generally do not accept returns.

However, we understand that situations may arise where a replacement or refund might be necessary. We've outlined our policy below:

Damaged Items:

  • If your fragrance sample arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at [support@lovethatscent.store] with a clear photograph of the damaged sprayer or packaging.
  • Upon verification of the damage, we will be happy to offer you a full refund for the damaged product or send you a replacement sample free of charge.

Incorrect Items:

  • In the rare case you receive an incorrect sample, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at [support@lovethatscent.store]. We will arrange for the return of the incorrect item and send you the correct sample as soon as possible.

Please note:

  • We are not responsible for personal preferences regarding fragrance scents. Samples are intended to allow you to try the fragrance before committing to a full bottle.
  • We recommend using the provided fragrance test strips to get a sense of the scent before applying the sample directly to your skin.

Sample & Reward Policy

  • 1. Precision Over-Fill (2.2ml Standard)
  • At Love That Scent, we want you to have the best possible experience. While our vials are technically 2ml, we utilize a precision over-fill method to 2.2ml for every complimentary sample. This accounts for natural settling and ensures you receive a generous amount of fragrance to test thoroughly.
  • 2. Brand Exclusion & Eligibility
  • Our complimentary sample rewards are tiered based on order value. Please note that high-value "Premium" brands—including Aurora Scents, Swiss Arabian, and Al Haramain—are strictly excluded from the "Free Sample" selection for orders under $100 AUD. These brands are reserved as rewards for our VIP customers spending $100 or more.
  • 3. Selection & Substitutions
  • We strive to honor all specific sample requests made in the order notes. However, sample rewards are subject to stock availability. In the event a requested scent is out of stock, our fragrance experts will select a high-quality alternative based on your order's scent profile (e.g., Woody, Floral, Citrus) to ensure you still discover something you love.
  • 4. Non-Refundable Nature
  • Complimentary samples are provided as a gift with purchase and have no cash value. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other products or store credit.

Right to Refuse Service and Order Cancellation

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time. To maintain a safe and respectful environment for our staff, we have implemented the following policies regarding prohibited conduct and order interference:

  • Prohibited Conduct: We do not tolerate harassment, defamation, or the spread of false information regarding our business operations (including, but not limited to, unfounded accusations regarding the sale of restricted goods).

  • Abuse of Platform: If a user has been previously banned or blocked due to a violation of these terms, any attempt to circumvent such restrictions—including the use of aliases, false names, or alternative email addresses to place orders—is strictly prohibited.

  • Cancellation & Refunds: We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order placed by an individual who has previously been flagged for harassment or who is attempting to bypass a prior ban.

    • In these instances, the order will be canceled immediately upon identification.

    • A full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

    • We are not responsible for any banking delays or "pending" status on the customer's end following the issuance of a refund.

  • Finality of Decisions: Decisions to terminate service or block specific IP addresses/physical addresses due to documented harassment are final.
